Large Fowl Chickens

Breeds are grouped in many ways. One common distinction is between the size which are the large fowl and bantam varieties. Both sizes can be found in many breeds.

Another classification is with Soft Feather Breeds and Hard Feather Breeds. In general, the Hard Feather Breeds are the Game varieties.

The Soft Feather breeds are divided further into Light Breeds and Heavy Breeds.
