Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer by websites that you visit. They are widely used in order to make websites work.

Members Login

The Members area uses ‘session cookies’.  These are necessary as they hold login information when the user moves between members-only pages.  They are only temporary and this use falls into the 'strictly necessary' category.

Session cookies should be deleted after the session has completed but some browsers now store these to allow session restore after a browser crash.  This is a configurable option which can be switched off.  However, the related information on the server side will have been deleted.

These cookies are used to collect information about how visitors use our site. We use the information to help us improve the site. The cookies collect information in an anonymous form, including the number of visitors to the site, where visitors have come to the site from and the pages they visited.
