Palace Theatre, Kilmarnock Category A-listed. Red sandstone Italianate tower opened in 1863 as a multi-use concert hall. Stage built 1903 and became Palace Theatre.

Penkill Castle, Old Dailly Imposing 15th century castle with additions dating through to 19th century. Favourite haunt of pre-Raphaelites, Dante Rosetti having written poems here. Now a private residence.
Pinwherry Castle Ruined 5 storey 16th century fortified house in Stinchar Valley five miles from Colmonell.
Pinwherry Castle which is hidden by ivy, is situated near the road bridge over the Duisk Water.
Portland Parish Church, Troon H E Clifford & Lunan, 1914, opened as United Free Church. Perpendicular Gothic in white sandstone with fine tracery in the great north and nave windows. Interior has blonde Austrian oak pews and fittings.
Stained glass chancel window donated in 1920 as a war memorial by Mr A F Steven. Two-manual organ by Harrison & Harrison. Location: St Meddan's Street, Troon.
