Alisa Craig is a granite rock, 1,114 feet high, circumference two miles is the plug of an extinct volcano and is now a bird sanctuary.

The Isle of Arran is the most southerly Scottish island and sits in the Firth of Clyde between Ayrshire and Kintyre.

Crossraguel Abbey was built in 1244 one of the few Cluniac settlements in Scotland. Founded by the Earl of Carrick. The extensive abbey remains are of high architectural distinction.
