Brig O' Doon House, Alloway
The original Inn on the site was built in 1827 and was later replaced by a hotel which was restored and upgraded in 1988 by Costley Hotels.
The two restaurants, small bar and tearoom are extremely popular with both visitors and local guests. The magnificent ballroom is much in demand for weddings, functions, etc.
This impressive hotel overlooks immaculate riverside gardens bordering the River Doon. Also seen from the gardens is the famous Auld Brig O' Doon which the Burns poem Tam O' Shanter made immortal for all time.
